Established in 1986, the Bull Run Community is a planned unit development constructed. Today, that same site is home to 1,786 member owners of BRS&RC Association, with construction completed in 2004.
There are 11 member Associations that consist of 1,061 town homes, and 725 condominium units surrounding the Community Clubhouse parcel (map), which also includes swimming and wading pools, tennis and basketball courts, and a tot lot for use by the BRS&RC membership. All homes are located within the Mullen Precinct/Gainesville District of Prince William County.
Situated not far from the Bull Run Battlefield Civil War site and, historic Old Town Manassas there are unlimited unique opportunities for shopping, community events, excursions and activities.
The BRS&RC Association provides a variety of services to its membership, which is funded through the assessments each owner pays on a monthly basis (budget, assessment payments) through their member Association. Assessments pay for the Association’s recreational amenities, common area maintenance and landscaping, management services, special events, parking area maintenance, street lighting, and snow removal. The Association maintains an office in the Clubhouse for BRS&RC members who need Association related information and assistance.
Our success is largely dependent on volunteers — members of the Bull Run Community who give generously of their time and talent to serve on our Board of Directors and Committees, organize Association special events, and participate on various projects. Volunteering really helps to foster a sense of community and neighborliness that is so often lacking in our busy lives. We encourage all members to support the Bull Run Swim & Racquet Club Association in whatever way you can, whether that means serving on the Board of Directors or head up the annual community yard sales. Any contribution that you can make is invaluable and will be much appreciated.
